Bettis RPE-Series Pneumatic Rack and Pinion Valve Actuator
The Bettis RPE-series is a rack & pinion actuator, available in 12 sizes as spring return or double acting models. The actuators have a tough and reliable design and are intended to operate quarter turn valves or any other quarter turn application. The Bettis RPE-series comes with coated body and endcaps, has a special high corrosion resistant aluminum pinion design and has stainless steel fasteners, resulting in a long lasting durable actuator design.
Features
1.Heavy duty body castings provide maximum protection in the harsh environment of process plant locations.
2.Polyurethane powder coating provides excellent corrosion resistance on housing and end caps.
3.One piece blow-out proof, pressure balanced, pinion allows safe in-field re-configuration from Fail-Close to Fail-Open.
4.he aerospace type alloy 7075 T6 for the pinion, provides the best combination of corrosion resistance, high strength and a lightweight construction as well as providing protection against galvanic corrosion.
5.Precision dual stroke adjustment provides accurate and intuitive end of stroke adjustment for the Open and Closed valve position.
6.Low maintenance bearings for pistons and pinion.
7.Accurately designed and machined components assure a perfect fit and long cycle life.
8.Stainless steel or Deltatone™ coated fasteners.
9.VDI/VDE 3845 (NAMUR) solenoid interface and top accessory interface.
10.Dual ISO 5211 mounting patterns allow low-profile direct mounting to valves.
11.Drive inserts on the valve flange make direct mounting flexible, either for square, flat head, or round with key way stems.
