Samson 43-8-DIN Self-operated regulators
Samson 43-8-DIN (43-8 N-DIN) is a DIN-compliant self-operated temperature regulator with idle temperature control function, requiring no external power. It consists of the Type 2438 valve, hydraulic controller, and Type 2430 vapor pressure thermostat with fast response time (approx. 2 seconds), specifically designed for domestic hot water systems to prevent reheating and temperature peaks that cause scaling in heat exchangers. With a set point range of 45 to 65°C (113 to 149°F) and medium temperature capability of 2 to 120°C (35.6 to 248°F), it features a DN 15, PN 25 red brass or hot-pressed brass body. The valve closes when temperature rises, maintaining stable hot water supply while preventing overheating, ensuring energy efficiency and system protection in residential and commercial DHW applications.
