The Westlock AccuTrak 2004 Series is a globally certified explosionproof/flameproof rotary valve position monitor (limit switchbox), engineered to deliver reliable, high-precision valve position feedback for manual and automated rotary valve assemblies in hazardous areas and harsh industrial environments.With full hazardous area approvals including NEC/CEC Class I, Div. 1 Groups C & D, Class II, Div. 1 Groups E, F & G, and ATEX/IECEx Zone 1/21 certifications, paired with IP66/IP67 and NEMA 4/4X/6P ingress protection, it ensures stable long-term operation in dusty, moist, corrosive and high-vibration industrial conditions. This series features Westlock’s proprietary tool-free TouchSet spring-loaded self-locking cam system for ultra-fast on-site calibration, a 360° high-visibility Beacon™ status indicator for instant valve position confirmation, factory pre-wired numbered terminal strips for simplified field wiring, and universal VDI/VDE 3845 NAMUR-compliant mounting for seamless compatibility with mainstream valve actuators. Available in rugged ultra-low copper (≤0.2%) aluminum alloy enclosures with optional 316 stainless steel upgrades, it supports flexible configurations of mechanical switches, inductive proximity sensors and analog position transmitters, making it the trusted cost-effective explosionproof solution for critical process control across oil & gas, chemical & petrochemical, water & wastewater treatment, power generation, pharmaceutical and pulp & paper sectors.
